WHAT'S NEW ✨ & WHAT'S HOT 🔥

Don’t know where to start? 🤔

Well this is a pretty good place. 😉 Here’s a collection of all my newest and most popular artworks from across all my available collections! Want to peruse all of the collections instead?

NEW ✨ SUPER BRIGHT STARS

Inspired by Willow’s “Boy”, Super Bright Stars brings the far-flung corners of the universe down to Earth. When I originally sketched this image, I immediately knew it was going to be one of my favorite new images. The starry background along with the galaxy bisecting Will were taken on a beautifully clear night in Shelter Island, NY last summer, after months of waiting for the perfect weather conditions.

HOT 🔥 WHEN I AWOKE

Inspired by the Beatles’ song “Norwegian Wood”. If you look closely, you can see every narrative element of the lyrics hidden somewhere in the image.

The flame in the model’s eye was created using a blown out candle: So I lit a fire /Isn't it good Norwegian wood?

The water and wine imposed onto the model’s face were created in-studio using breath to create its movement: I sat on a rug biding my time / Drinking her wine.

I created the final piece by using over 30 images woven together to create this mystical and energetic piece.

NEW ✨ DANCE ALONG THE LIGHT OF DAY

How can you make a solar system with random household objects? 🪐👀 Inspired by Train’s “Drops of Jupiter”, I took this photo with my friend Ryan last year, and with the exception of the starry sky backdropping the image, all of the elements here are various vases and décor I used from my apartment (even the molten texture transforming Ryan into a sun is an orange glass bottle with light shone through it). 😉

HOT 🔥 PRETENDING

Pretending has been undoubtedly my most popular artwork to date, and there is quite literally one piece left! If you are interested in the final edition (Collector size), feel free to contact me with any questions or purchase it directly here.

The process for creating Pretending was as multidimensional and layered as the final image. I was inspired by MGMT’s “Time to Pretend”, and took this photograph in-studio with model Nick Boisseau.

We used so many interesting and fun techniques to create the final work! To create the image of the clone figure that floats parallel to Nick, I photographed pink slime as a photo assistant stretched it between his hands and later used baby oil to create a realistic sheen for the clone. The final image is a combination of over 25 photos from the shoot that embody the wistful abandon of the song that inspired it.

NEW ✨ HIGHER PLACES

Higher Places marks the first official photo of my brand new series, Parlour Tricks. Inspired by the song “Loud Places” by Jamie xx and Romy, this photo transcends model Luis to an alternate dimension reminiscent of the album’s cover – but more importantly to the same energetically quiet headspace the song transports the listener.

HOT 🔥 SWEET DAYS OF SUMMER

Sweet Days of Summer was in fact shot on a chilly March afternoon in Shelter Island, but the carefree lyrics of “Summer Breeze” that inspired the photo kept us all feeling warm (besides David... he was very, very cold).

This was the first photo I ever took with David, and he has since become a muse for my art and my life: as a model, as a helper in other shoots, and most importantly, as the fella I’m proud to call my boyfriend. ❤️
